When I first joined the SFM, I’d have to say I went gangbusters. I felt I had finally found something that just made sense to me. I’d tried MLMs (multi-level marketing), but the idea of being out at night, doing business presentations away from my family, was something that just didn’t grab me. I had already been conducting after-hours meetings twice a week for the past 18 years, so more nights out working was something that just didn’t appeal to me.
One of the things I really like about the SFM is the training and business-building that can all be done from my laptop – it can easily be incorporated in to a busy schedule. Even if I can’t make the live training sessions, I can go back and watch a replay anytime. If I want further help, I can reach out to the “back-office” support team who are always on hand and very encouraging.
There are many ways to build a secondary-income, where franchises are another option. Basically, what you are buying is a business-in-a-box or business system. Where implemented, a franchiser licenses its know-how, procedures, intellectual property, use of its business model, brand and rights to sell its branded products and services to a franchisee. There are many successful options of franchises. Of course, what you need to consider are the start up costs of a franchise. I reckon it’s worth thinking about the hours involved in owning a franchise – they tend not to be a set-and-forget business model. Instead, you have to be hands-on in the day-to-day operation of the business. I am yet to meet someone that owns a franchise that doesn’t work long hours.
As I learned more about the digital world, I became aware of the many ways that affiliates can earn income. Writing blogs and articles on topics of interest and being paid a commission when subscribers made a purchase by clicking a link from an article or review I had written seemed really appealing to me. I think it’s pretty cool being paid when you are writing about topics of personal interest! Of course, another alternative is doing nothing. That leave things exactly as they are.
I hope you find what it is you are looking for…
